How to Extract Text from PDF
Select a PDF file and click Extract Text. The tool uses PDF.js to read the text content from every page and displays it in a text area. You can copy the text or download it as a .txt file.
Limitations
- Only works with digital PDFs that have a text layer
- Scanned documents (images) will not produce text
- Complex layouts may result in out-of-order text
- For scanned PDFs, use an OCR tool instead
